movie was big mid, felt more like a tech demo or sum, shoulda just been a trav mv, hell even the bladee mv had a more interesting aesthetic

yeah harmony kinda didn't go off as much as he could have, felt like a few ideas stretched out to feature length and the whole time the aesthetic felt like it was building up to something that never came. this whole "video games is the future of cinema" is a little misguided when the part of video games that you're emulating is outdated and derivative of cinema in the first place. i found that the human surge 3 played with the fusion of cinema and video game in a much more profound and affecting way

some interesting images for sure though but beyond the base of the aesthetic itself, theres nothing here that he hasnt done better in his other work. spring breakers and the beach bum are at the top of american films of the 2010s

Always felt like Harmony had unique and interesting concepts, but seems to always follow short somehow.

wanna watch this in theaters but all the showings are at like 940/10pm on a week day and i gotta drive out like 25 min so

it works as a late night movie tbh, even if you gotta sacrifice some sleep you should go for the cinema screening if you can
