don’t even wanna say he held himself back because he still drops a tape every year but yeah, 1of1 getting a somewhat lukewarm reception after quite a long wait and a lot of expectations for it put him in a difficult spot i guess, probably was his make it or break it moment

and then not coming with a proper follow up sooner even though i personally love My Gift to You (even though it was mostly leaks and the release was kinda a mess)

them leaks definitely slowed his career a lot and held him back, can’t imagine the pain of getting the entire vault leaked man s*** was like 700 songs or maybe even more iirc

he still coolin though, i don’t think he wants too much spotlight on himself so ig he might be satisfied with where he’s at rn

wish this gets more love though i feel like he deserves it
