this tape ass but you should not be looking for this nigga for bars lmao
his other albums better than this
All you have to do is put your personality into your writing. There, now you have bars.
This guy doesn't have a personality or a delivery or an emotion or anything. Still pissed off I listened to 5 tracks off this.

Listen to Wave or promises on the album. Those one had a lot of personality imo but yeah this is just a representation of how dry the rap game is. They're hyping up anyone these days cause we in a drought

not really that simple but you shouldnt be looking for these type of artists for bars to begin with cus thats just not what he or any of his contemporaries do

this the one song i can think of where hes actually rapping about something

Idk what you think bars are, but Yeat has an idiosyncratic writing voice. He phrases things weird. He has recurring interests and catch phrases. He even has some alright punchlines.
The bar is so low man. It's not hard to get a notch above it. At all
Also I'm never listening to this dude again. Insulted be put this out

Because rap music is where you listen to a guy say a lot of words. That's what it is. If Kanye West didn't exist you'd be listening to something else. i wouldn't.

it's pretty insane how people can listen to Not Afraid, Range/Era, Barry, Marathon, Darkness & Promises and proceed to say that Rock is saying nothing lol
It's cool if it's just not for you / you don't like it, but there's some pretty vulnerable parts on this project...there's literal reflections on him getting home from the military on Marathon, him opening up about his personal struggles on Not Afraid, him being motivational/speaking about self-belief on Promises, etc...
It's also refreshing that he's religious / references God a lot on the album, I feel like that's not common especially in this sound (i.e. all of Opium lol)

This album is underwhelming af, best selection is creative but this dude bites from Thug way too much

HipHop is Not always rap and rap is not always hiphop
