PRESSSUUURRRREEEE

HC punk is an interesting genre for how sparse its output is and how obviously 'outstanding' its most celebrated acts are

I of course am not s***ting on hardcore punk here--I actually had a great punk phase after parting ways with rap around middle school--just never got into multiple '2 eps and we're out' bands that were out there. at the same time I absolutely love Black Flag, Minor Threat, and Dead Kennedys, but not too many other than that

theres some cool stuff among the obscure ones though. here's one band that I liked from recently:

their only 'album' is 20 minutes long and its p cool I recommend it

going to a big 12 hour fest tomorrow. excited for squint, racetraitor, spaced, doubt it and si dios quiere

MTL HC legends and the homies dropped something recently, hopefully someone checks it out

Wow Mozumozu is tapped in. Lotta mob ties…

Big ups the hardcore scene massive. It’s a graffiti and airmax ting…

this is so f***ing good

I remember a mix cd had freeway- what we do with a band’s instrumental instead. S*** was hot don’t think I’ll ever hear it again

Respect, glad you like it. My only point of reference for hc is going to the shows irl so this is my favourite band of all time. Legends in the city

im showing my friend whos super into all this tomorrow fs
