I played through ODST recently and I really enjoyed the semi-open world and feel of that game. If they can manage that feeing while making it feel authentic to the Halo experience, I’ll cop for sure. I love Halo probably just as much as any other series and would absolutely buy a Series X just to experience this game.

I’m really not tryna get gassed for this game because at the end of the day it’s 343i but the screenshots look promising and it seems like they are really tryna make this s*** work. If they f*** it up, Halo is done for good.

yeah semi open works cause you don't waste too much time wandering around, and there is enough engagement to decide to avoid or punch through.

damn this game is the best look of the series so far. They actually merged all the halo styles in one complete look

I think the reach armor tease is more just showing off how they’re going to really try and implement all the legacy armors from the previous games and not really hinting towards the plot, like some people are speculating. But there was also that Reach-based novel that came out like last year which took place right before infinite

i also think its a tease that were gunna see multiplayer footage/possibly get a beta announcement

yea its pretty much every piece of armor on the suit gets its own customization, and then there will be purchasable designs/coatings

i hope people remember that Halo Infinites multiplayer will be FREE, this has a lot of implications
