Bar none this is easily my favorite version of Chief in any of the Halo games, they finally found a balance between the one liner machine from the Bungie trilogy while exploring the f***ed up part of this Terminator who was robbed of his humanity at the age of 10

I have to agree with that. I liked his will to push through because that’s all he’s known but also the sound of hurt and defeat. Like you said he seems almost done and like he doesn’t know what to do for once.
