You CAN save and quit mid mission. However there is only like 4 (random number I chose idk the exact number) dedicated save and quit type checkpoints throughout each mission. The game doesn’t indicate when these are though cause it spits out checkpoints like crazy for when you die and s***. But if you are to quit, you revert to that last dedicated save point you reached

Yeah because they are offering the campaign as a dlc (to make it uninstallable to save space and stuff) they are unable to offer a pre load on Xbox or steam since they don’t allow pre loads for DLC.
