I thought Halo was known for LAN parties back in the day

theyre likely using this as a way to test out and gauge feedback to halo on unreal engine 5 since this is the most safe option they could do with a halo game. and if it really is coming to playstation 5 they're also introducing sony players who may have never touched a halo game before

that other rumored halo game thats supposed to be like a battle royale / extraction shooter is probably the real thing to look out for (although personally this is also just as boring and uninteresting to me as redoing halo ce again lol)
