not gonna lie this is very confusing. it "matters" to some people because...it did happen? if he dropped on a quiet week and went #1, then it would "matter" that he went #1. it doesn't not "matter" because he "lost."

i guess also the point is that The Weeknd is supposed to be more popular than Gunna and thus expected to sell more. i won't pretend to be obtuse about that expectation, but i don't necessarily buy into it. plenty circumstances that can cause an unlikely outcome like this.
