TheoryI really don’t understand the line of thinking that we should just let this slide
Like, if the Chinese government (or even the American government considering the source of funding) created a virus that killed 3 million people, destroyed small businesses and created a huge transfer of wealth to the rich (which will likely continue at a faster pace than before well beyond COVID) there should absolutely be repercussions
If it were made in a lab there are even more important questions- like, did either government leak it intentionally, know it was man made and cover that up, and could knowing the process for making it have sped up the process of finding a cure? For all we know this was biological warfare. Not saying it was, but an investigation absolutely needs to be done.
Because while some of these are important, I think it’s more pressing to focus on idk maybe making sure it don’t happen again or help the other countries suffering cause COVID is still f***ing s*** up in a looooot of places.
And nah, I dont believe global leadership has the ability to multitask.

If it was man made then finding that out would be a pretty huge step in preventing it from happening again
And government does have the ability to multitask, having intelligence agencies investigate the lab doesn’t interfere with much of anything else
