The intelligence communities researching the origins of COVID does not interfere in anyway whatsoever with any of the things you mentioned. The Pentagon’s UAP division investigating UFO’s does not interfere with anything you mentioned. The government is able to do more than one thing at a time.

As far as what the point is, we should want to know if it actually came from China, why China covered it up. Why they didn’t immediately restrict travel if they had been alerted this virus had leaked. If it’s possible that it wasn’t leaked but released intentionally. If knowing it was man made (if it was), would have made it any easier to create a vaccine for it.

Lots of implications there that definitely need answers.
