not going to try and change anyones mind but WSG & Con started on trap beats, and these beats are more reflective of the places Gunn has been travelling lately because trap/drill/etc is a lot of the soundscape over there currently.

Niggas would still be in Buffalo if they continued to rap on Trap beats.

just makes sense to me if hes making his last album he would pay homage to the start of his career and implement sound of the places hes been lately to put a modern spin on it. like i said, not tryna change minds or argue about it, just makes sense to me and i found it more enjoyable than not myself. mostly as of late i havent particularly enjoyed the c tier rappers he features and drowning me with stove god religiously, that is more offensive to me than these trap beats, lol.

ill be real myself here too, when Q dropped crash talk i hated it the same way ppl arent feeling this, because I know Q is capable and doesnt need to conform to make samey or popular sounding music of the time(pretty much same thing here), but in hindsight, that album is better than i gave it credit, and his personal reasons for making it made a lot more sense to me over time. Sometimes you just gotta make what you wanna make for your own sake.

in comparison to his other albums, sure, i dont think it sucks though. Its just some mids-to-good music with some great songs.

West is wild for delaying the album for months to give us whatever this is.
