look, i'm gonna be blunt, the whole appeal of their music was the production and bars. without the grimey and evil beats, they're nothing but ny niggas with a punchline here and there, and there's a milion mfs out there that can do that very same thing. benny isn't a superstar like he thinks he is. westside isn't the fashion icon he thinks he is and conway can't deliver a 50 cent tier hook if his life depended on it

I haven’t listened to this one yet, but I gotta agree. WSG dropped two meh projects after P4P and Benny has sounded stale for a while, I didn’t mind the Conway/big ghost album but it wasn’t anything special either, not anticipating much from this going in tbh

the best thing to do is go in with low expectations, because this ain't hittin at all. we're experiencing the decline of such a prolific group and it hurts to even think that, but it's never too late to bounce back.

gotta disagree with y'all. If they were still putting out 2018-2019 style projects we'd be saying we're tired of this. they're doing what they need to do. it doesn't always work, but at least they're branching out.

I think in part we're a little fatigued just because they've been putting out so many projects for so long, and the basic formula hasn't changed, despite some new production choices.

Those were both nice, but I really do not need to hear any griselda member over trap beats

6 tracks in so far and I only like track 1 and 6. Tracks 2-5 weren’t for me

They clearly want to move to more accessible music and cross over a bit and they’re doing it successfully without switching it up completely on their old style.

Also, 2 Chainz and Griselda wasn’t a pairing I would have asked for but it’s always great.

I wish we could get tracks like 1 and 6 again from them for a whole project. I do not like them on Modern Trap beats at all cause part of what made me love them is the gritty dark samples

Lil Cease off FIAAG2 was actually made using one of Beat Butcha’s drum/sample kits so you’re not far off lol

I feel like Daringer’s production has gotten a lot better but for some reason he’s being underutilized more than ever now. Hope that changes with TT4 and HWH8

Hey, it's okay for us to like different things...What I'm just unsure about sometimes is if they understand they wouldnt have blown up without their unique and grimey sound. Im totally fine with them doing trap stuff etc. from time to time, its just very uinteresting to me for various reasons, one of them being so many other artists doing it as good or better.

Im not loving all of the beats on the new tape, but damn... Conway is a f***ing monster

This is what ppl some ppl itt been asking for. Conway's always rapped over other styles of production but he hadn't really included them in albums, just been doing it in freestyles.
