really the worst thing about this are the gunn and freddie features
Gunn >>>>>>>>> Dej Loaf and Havoc's hook on Juvenile Hell (he killed the production though)
Mach shouldve stayed put.
He went to be a big fish is a puddle instead of seeing if he could swim with the sharks.
His s*** dont sound the same. He was at his best with Griselda

Gunn and Armani are the worst parts of the album.
Gunn >>>>>>>>> Dej Loaf and Havoc's hook on Juvenile Hell (he killed the production though)
nah i love Dej Loaf's contribution so much

Hav's hook was fire.
I don’t feel that way. HBO is my favorite but mostly just because it has the most songs on it and it was the one that got me into him. I don’t know that anything would have really turned out much differently if he had stayed cool with Griselda apart from some features on each other’s albums and a Daringer beat here and there. But I’m biased; as much as I like Griselda, I personally just like Mach’s music a lot more. I’ve probably said this before in the Mach thread but I feel like Mach’s artsy gangster rapper persona comes off far more effortless and less contrived than West’s.
I feel you. I agree to an extent, but I feel like some s*** he could’ve done with WS and Con could’ve been great, like a DGSN 2, for example. Plus I would’ve loved to have a full Mach x Daringer project. But I feel you. He’s in a different bag now.
Disagree on that last point
Freddie verse was hard
not as annoying as gunn but if you're on a song with conway you better bring your a-game
Hav's hook was fire.
I disagree...it's grown on me a lil to where I don't hate it but energy is off with the others IMO...I actually liked Gunn's verse once he got to rapping I agree dragging words out n s*** is annoying but he's had other tracks where it's way worse
i like freddie's part at the beginning when he keeps up with the melody but he didn't need to resort to his choppy flow right after
Gunn and Armani are the worst parts of the album.
Anza in general is kinda weird tbh but i like it more and more
Gunn’s inclusion on Spurs was unnecessary af—i would’ve preferred him on Dough and Damani
I really don’t fw the Gibbs track in general, so I’m not really rocking with his verse. And I love the energy on Juvenile Hell from Havoc, but I did think Lloyd Banks’ verse was not needed
Anza in general is kinda weird tbh but i like it more and more
Anza might be my favorite track
which surprises me. He totally could’ve carried that track on his own

Is that really what you wanna hear Conway rap about tho?

While I love HBO I think overall his post-Griselda s*** has been better (maybe not this year) and he's able to release as much as he wants rather than having to wait for West or whoever to give him the go ahead which I'm sure he likes...I liked Mach with Griselda but also think he was a bit too different from the others and may have presented issues with marketing as they got bigger...like Conway, West, and Benny make generally the same type of music...Mach has a similar sound but once u start listening to his lyrics you realize he's kinda off in his own world...feel like he would have been treated like a ElCamino and not as a main member of their crew but idk

You mean production wise? Nah, but I don’t mind it if it’s one track here and there. I originally hated Half of It, then I saw him perform it live, and I just appreciate that he can get in that bag. He’s best on grimy production but he can work trap beats

Nah, I mean content.
I think is beneath what hes capable of artistically but he feels forced to do those kinda songs to fit in alongside his more mainstream contemporaries.

its literally the same type of content as usual though

West f***ed with Mach heavy. With his vision I cant believe that Mach wouldnt have been a huge part of what Griselda was doing.
Benny might have joined eventually....or he mightve not.

He wasnt saying s*** is what I'm saying.
Using a contemporary flow but it's just a lot of babble....like most of these niggas do.

Word, good point about him standing out. Plus I feel like he and Benny would’ve clashed on tracks, just rap wise. Still, him, West, and Con could’ve made more great music
Honestly it feels like it
hasn't had a project close to HBO yet. WKJ was the closest. Otherwise it's been some misses imo
@cotton_dockers @Yolko what do y'all think
I gotta disagree. WKJ and Bulletproof Luh are near perfection imo, the only thing mach lost in that deal is the daringer hookup
