"GDMM 2nd or 3rd week of October"

    FAT 🧢

And why do it that close?

P4P following WWCD so closely made sense.

I'm not sure if that same strategy is gonna work here.

    You're basically competing with yourself.

But I guess it's the same formula as all these deluxe editions. It just seems doing it this way kinda spreads the heat between two.projects instead of concentrating on one potent tape.

P4P came out like 5 or 6 months after WWCD though? and one of those is a Gunn solo while the other is a label album, they're not even comparable

but either way, FKTG is meant "the album before the album" to GDMM, i dunno if they're gonna be similar sonically. it seems like FKTG is more Conway exploring different sounds and is put together in the quarantine whereas GDMM is gonna be his magnum opus, more similar to his usual sound but more personal, and its been worked on for a long time

and that's all assuming that GDMM actually comes out in october, which again, i really doubt

    4 1/2 months apart, approx.

And I know they're different. But West used the good buzz from WWCD as a lead in to P4P.

This is similar but in a way shorter time frame and the fact that its 2 solo.projects in such close proximity is my gripe.

I'd rather they just call this a mixtape or something. The way they define these projects confuses me these days.

Gonna try resist listening to that Gibbs joint until I have the full album. Hyped for this one.

Seen a bit of beat butcha hate but I'm a fan. Some of my fav griselda beats are on WWCD tbh

    i see what you’re saying

i think they’re just considering this an album cuz it’s conway’s first full length that he’s made available on all DSPs since Reject 2

but honestly to me it doesn’t matter what they call it long as we get the music

I feel like if Conway condensed some of his random EPS and mixtapes into just a few full lengths (12-15 songs) his discography would be godly. It’s still fire, but definitely hindered by a few lackluster albums

And I still feel like he’s so slept on/overshadowed

When it's so many projects, it dilutes the overall discog.

Hes put out enough music for 2 near classic albums since Reject 2.

there's no reason it wouldn't drop at this point unless there's some circumstances like with DJ Shay's death

Btw, whether its real samples or not anywhere i never found that to make a difference, i think its super cool that esp on WWCD how they can make some s*** that sound super gutter and like its sampled but with real instruments, those beats sound GOOD too. Did lemon have any samples?

I see your point man. But at the same time, sampling allowed us beats like Amherst Station, Visionware, Summerslam 88, Mr. T, etc..

It’s very impressive that both can be good, but I feel like you’re way more likely to get something great from a sample

No doubt, hook was my least favorite part. Really liked Gibbs part though

    GIbbs went tf offff

I think the hook coulda been way worse. Y’all ever hear west try to sing on a hook, y’all know exactly wtf I’m talking about

But real s***, the reason I loved this song so much is con’s verse. Lotta pain and was delivered well. Melody is great too. Hook is obviously the weakest part but I didn’t not like it. It was just there. Fred Kruger verse was dope as well. He never disappoints

i f***ing love when West's high ass voice croons tbh

1 song in and Con sounds energized.

    Shots at someone.

Transitions nicely into Fear Of God

4 songs in and this is his best constructed since Reject 2. The beat switch on Dough & Damani >>>>

He's flowing like water. You can tell when hes coasting and when hes trying to kill something and so far it's one headshot after another.

Production is high level Griselda s***, dusty beats with a glossy sheen.

    Juvenile Hell >>>>>
