That storytelling is crazy too. I wonder if the producer he’s talking about is someone we’d know or have heard before
he has another track like this where he talks about a girl a guy meets at a bar things go well she brings him back to her place there is some guys who live in the building who she does not give them the time of day so think she is to good so one day he returns to see her they beat the guy up take his s*** and its w.e he returns back a month later he sees the guy who beat him up so he shot him right inside the elevator rome's story telling is amazing we need more tracks like that from him
Going thru a bit of a rough patch rn, but I swear Rome’s album is helping like crazy. That intro track just makes ya feel confident and that everything’s gon work out, and then the rest of the album is so comfortably true to the Griselda sound with some fun twists thrown in
Bless the man Rome
I love when he was switching the flows on this that run from Dreamcatcher > time and place > high speed was so
The dude who produced I Don’t Know (Karbine) is only 19 man wtf, major props
Also Rome on Twitter says they’ve got a whole tape in the tuck together

He has the same manager as Rome so we’ll probably get it

Man I hope so, been checking out his tapes today
Kid’s got it fr. Already has clearly found a signature sound for himself too
For someone his age he understands the true 90s vibe more than a lot of producers who’d label themselves “throwback” lowkey

That whole run from Dreamcatcher -> Shoot Your Trophies feels like a fever dream trip production wise, with I Don’t Know being the smooth comedown. Great sequencing there, feel like it was def intentional

post some of his stuff
Also features Rome. Production is so dope
Wow love this
That Rome On The Radar freestyle is having a lowkey viral moment on Twitter particularly for the beat, I’m seeing tons of my fav artists outside of Griselda repost it
