    That’s why I’m curious tbh. There’s multiple earth GLs in the books but they seem to be changing it a little for the show so we’ll see

    I think they gonna get into it, but in comics there's multiple green lanterns from earth but not all of them have earth has their district of protection.

    Seems like there was a change that allowed for Guy to become one

  • loved how the GL costume kid John got as a bday gift was basically his classic suit. They better have him looking clean for man of tomorrow and not rock the Hal suit

    now what i found somewhat iffy about is that this origin definitely becomes canon that John is a boyscout. Sometimes that s*** rubs me the wrong way of Black man being obedient to his higher ups as a character .. but different conversation for another day

    Yeah was already kind of mixed on it but I mainly know John Stewart from animated series. As long as he has more of a soul in future seasons and movies

    the show basically re-wrote that when they retconned him into being a marine instead of a architect.

    I also think my issue more lies with the delivery (by the mother) of some of the lines about black people which adds to the heavy handedness of it all. did not really enjoy her performance that much. it don't help that she light skinned too
