I thought I was going loco watching dudes in here act like people were being “crazy comic book fans 🤪” for wanting to see comic book s*** in a comic book show.

Maybe the show is more fantastical than it’s putting on but they haven’t shown us that in any of the previews shown so of course we’re going to react to what we’ve seen thus far

If the Superman trailer came out and it was 99% Clark walking around in his civilian clothes I promise Gunn would not get that grace lmao

Fans attention spans are so blown that they instantly want to see all the highlights of a 10 hour show in the first teaser . Me personally I don’t . Why the f*** would I want to see constructs and both suited in the first teaser trailer for something releasing in the fall ? Because each trailer tends to have to show more than the one before it . Damon joked about the color green people b****ed . It’s a full season of television learn patience for once in your life . Grant Morrison genius or not it’s mad unprofessional to s*** on something you’ve seen so little of and heard one joke about the color green

Dc needs to get their s*** together so they is less in fighting or they will never have a successful universe

The show’s budget going forward is expected to be significantly less as HBO Max, under David Zaslav’s combined Warner Bros. Discovery, is focusing on right-sizing its various assets. As part of the move to find an estimated $3 billion in cost savings, Zaslav and his division leaders have dropped a number of projects including Berlanti’s planned Strange Adventures anthology for HBO Max, J.J. Abrams’ HBO original series Demimonde and the already completed Batgirl feature film. (For Demimonde, HBO is said to have balked at Abrams’ request for a budget north of $200 million.)

WBD said in an SEC filing this week that it expects to take $2 billion to $2.5 billion in tax write-downs related to content. The eight previously completed Green Lantern scripts are expected to be included in those tax write-downs as sources maintain it wasn’t Grahame-Smith’s creative that ultimately doomed the first incarnation of the show but rather its price tag.

Damon Lindelof’s comments notwithstanding, the ‘Green’ in ‘Green Lantern(s)’ green is not ‘stupid’. Why does a writer attach himself to this kind of narrative if he thinks it’s fundamentally ‘stupid’?
