They're still struggling with communicating this is Green Lanterns. Why freestyle the mythos here?

Few greens, no bright lights, no vow, ring that has to be passed down by a Lantern rather than the ring choosing and training its successor itself, suits that aren't constructs, civilian clothes for 90% of the time. Unless you're following this regardless like some of us, what's the pull? The things (we hope) they're teasing by not showing now don't seem worth it like we've seen GL powers before.
