Was definitely more respected than he is now and way to avoid him losing his ring and going to prison for 10 years lol

and after 10 years in prison dating a police officer we are lead to believe the police officer thought he would kill her child ?

Don’t think it was nomination worthy for anything but glad to see her getting some respect online. She was great in boardwalk empire too

Yes after he got half the town blown up just to kill one manhunter i definitely believe he’d take another out as he doesn’t view them as human. This isn’t a crazy idea bro.

If the writing was good as many of us desired yes it would be what we needed for the show and themes over spectacle. its not thinking people are smarter for wanting emotional writing over spectacle its simply what last longer in our minds. spectacle comes and goes. You dont have to sacrifice good writing for spectacle. The show didnt need spectacle to be a good show or a good lanterns introduction.

he will be in superman which has infinitely more budget.

The show didn’t need spectacle, but it needed more than zero inclusion of any Lanterns stuff in its final three episodes to justify being a show about Green Lanterns. Slow and serious writing isn’t an excuse for a show to be boring. Something like Succession had no action in it whatsoever and it was more captivating and compelling than these last two episodes of Lanterns

The final 3 episodes were that boring to you. We see lanterns elements in the final 3 episodes. What exactly are you asking for? This isnt SUCCESSION. Why you are comparing it to succession simply because it wasnt special fx heavy isnt logical. Notice how I mention Watchmen a logical comparison that is same relevance.

You seem to have an issue with the drama of the show when the drama was the point of the show and this was never pitched as a superhero every single episode type of show

Was just used to show him giving her money and trying to do right. Probably worst part of the last 3 episodes.

Tom King history of writing poorly written women comes up on an episode he wrote on . When he said he formed the show years ago and he informed the mystery yes its going to come up that he is known for poor writing for women. Same way when the torture scene came up thought thats Tom King.

Watchmen for me but Shaleirose likely hasnt watched watchmen and is very focused on spectacle. When asked what the theme of resident evil was he said "its just spectacle no theme"

The drama of the show was great up until the last two episodes. It came to a screeching halt and fumbled its premise.

Episode 6 was not boring, what I said about the the last three episodes (6, 7, and 8) was that there were no Lanterns elements at all. Episode 6 wasn’t boring, but I found Episodes 7 and 8 to be mindnumbingly dull
