my reaction is mainly from writers and normal humans not publications. I am sure publications dont hit back at the things others are not.

I mean how do you feel about torture, covering up a murder and the killing within the episode?

    I am asking YOU

Who do you think are writing the reviews ? I said positive reaction from people on my timelline too

As my opinion i already said the finale was flawed and included some strange elements but overall it was a good finale and tied up the themes and story points in a full circle and satisfactory way.

Did I need John torturing sinestro ? No
Did I need John making up with his fam at the end ? No
Did I wish the Kerry Hal murder got fleshed out more ? Yes
Did I wish there was more fleshed out details surrounding Noah ? Yes

But did they have a great and satisfying character arc of John defying his programming and becoming his own man to the point that he's an independent GL operating outside the control of the corps? Yes

Hal was point blank assassinated by a cop who has a manhunter for a son, and that all was just kinda shoved under the rug

And now a guy with a unsanctioned ring and a Lantern forged with fear by an escaped Guardian murderer now can just tell the Guardians and the Green Lantern of Sector 2814 that he is an independent contractor for Earth who has things all under control. Ummm

It’s highkey irresponsible to let John be a lantern. This should be a point of contention if they’re continuing with him for an S2.

The Hal hologram for all intents and purposes is Hal. The show makes zero distinction and its purpose is to be Hal. So effectively everything the hologram does we are supposed to treat as reflective of Hals actual choices.

the halogram being Hal for that long after he died I thought over did it same as pa kent ghost bvs, hologram kryptonian parents man of steel. I dont find it to be good writing and John Stewart as a character isnt well written to me. He comes from a black abuse family, gets dropped off in the "hood" by the writers which they were questioned on the podcast, has a rapper brother, tortures, covers up a murder and kills himself.

Again if the writing on John Stewart is so good why cant a white character do those things. Getting new blacks to write something so inherently loaded and the new blacks liberals really think its heart warming writing in their hearts.

I do not. I have said so from the first moment I felt their writing in the show. Even when I didnt know who was writing the episode.

The entire season was filled with decisions like that to me though I dont limit it to the finale. The Finale is just more baffling because they had the central writers of the show on it. some of the same who were on the first episode. I am left thinking they had too many writers in the kitchen.

The murder didnt make sense . I am fine her being the killer. I am fine it even being over a conversation but because he says they should run away and she panics? He isnt even threatening the child. I had to rewind it because I thought i missed something. If a man did that to a woman he was be viewed as insane. Writing a woman character as overly emotional to the point she could accidentally headshot someone not even body shot but headshot someone over what he said ISNT GOOD WRITING.

Not that the show has to explain how much a mother loves her child but it ain’t like Hal was saying he was going to kill Noah lol. But I would’ve loved to see more about Noah and Kerry’s relationship to understand and feel that bond a bit more.

One of the better CBM shows. Loved how John was written and showed he’s gonna be a great superhero at the end of the show. Helping people who he really doesn’t have to. Can’t wait to see more in man of tomorrow in his suit.

I AM AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR I DONT LIKE WHAT THE GUARDIANS ARE DOING

AFTER AN EPISODE LIKE THIS shows 0 self awareness

then in the podcast their conversation about the likely conversation he would have with his mom which instead we get a near silent reunion and a hug was essentially that he was doing this for him now not her

when he displays some of the same disturbing characteristics she gave him.

It didn’t have anything to do with running away, she just knows what Hal wants to do which is ultimately kill her son/get her son killed.

He absolutely would’ve killed him. Bro already risked the lives of every innocent citizen just to catch one manhunter.
He would’ve taken Noah out the first chance he got
