irrational emotional woman character who literally shoots him clear in the head over a serious argument about her child with no threats isnt great writing

just all the unnecessary hype for several episodes that ended up underwhelming (me)

brother its 18 years into this s*** . People are different because they are much less interested in jingling keys its not Obama era. We realize we can die any day we arent half the age plus and teenagers. Marvel was always criticized iron man 2 and 3 were mid. Captain America 1 okay , 2 great. Agent shield trash. Hulk movie over hated. Thor 1 2 reviewed terribly. They just made it to the jingling keys of avengers. The cost of budgets on these tv shows and movies and emotoinal investment from people who have wanted to see these adapted for 10-20 years of their life then the writers do some funny dialogue isnt thrilling its upsetting

John Stewarts Oath that feels like it was written while on the toilet doesnt even make sense

he will do whats right. We just saw him torture someone, cover up a murder and kill someone this season. What we saw this season of him was an absolute mess. Supergil killed. Lantern tortured and killed. hawkgirl killled. We are only so far into the universe and they are nearly the injustice league. I wont even feel conflicted of "will they kill they cant they are heroes ".

His mom lecturing an alien of "even in space you don't think of us" is still insanely absurd writing and centering of lazy liberal writing. Especially from new blacks who wrote an abusive black family with a character signing a rap deal and a character that gets dropped off in the hood. To the point where on the podcast they tried to shoot back at the person who said "he is an a24 black" when thats HOW THEY WROTE HIM.

The internet is such a small percentage of viewers too. Show has 19m or so views per episode lol. Reviews on review sites have every episode rated pretty good too.

no its not . People joking about the finale all over the timeline. Its not my algorithm either because its people I follow who happen to be talking about the episode. Especially the BLACK RECEPTION.

  -the corny coming back home scene looking like a commercial for a prescription medicine

its better than terrible there are good elements to it but with the given characters we know we have to continue seeing I dont know .
