I would assume either weeknd didnt submit or it has something to do with Republic also releasing Folklore and Hollywoods Bleeding. Either republic didnt want to push all 3 or the Grammys didnt want all 3 from the same label running their whole show. I dunno 🤷🏽‍♂️
