but the Best New Artist nom is where it gets funny. this nigga won a super lowkey rap american idol hosted by netflix and chance the rapper. and effectively did nothing afterwards. we didn't hear a single. we didn't see him anywhere besides i think having one of those up and coming artist BET Awards performances.

every one who heard his album had to seek it out, it wasn't by force. what did he do to be put up there with Meg and Doja and Phoebe? it's just weird. especially when there were plenty other male rappers to choose from who blew up this year to fill that spot.

It wouldn’t be as bad as you may think. Bieber is connected to Usher and has stated in the past numerous times about his love for r&b.

Oh it wouldn’t be bad if he dropped a Journals-quality album. While Changes isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be, I just don’t think there’s ever been a white artist in R&B at the Grammys. Could be wrong
