This video actually got me hyped. The game looks really fun and full of things to do, also sneaking around looks good here...some people made it seem like its unplayable to sneak around, but its totally fine.
Def copping this by next week
this reminds me of the tenchu games
don't remember them that well honestly was too young but the stealth in that game was very fun
CP2077 seems like the missions and the world is going to be really fun but the actual combat is f***ing atrocious. Those hand to hand fight scenes and that clipping

some of the characters seem poorly written stereotypes/archetypes. still copping but the dialogue in the clipping was terrible ngl

I don't have too big an issue with characters not being the best written. It seems like this is going to be a more evolved GTA for the sci fi world, so biggest things for me are the world, interactiveness, and the gameplay.
And the world and missions seem cool, but they've already reduced NPCs majorly from the first demos of the game and the combat just looks bad.

Go back and play them when you get the chance. They’re annoyingly difficult at times but so rewarding.
Imagine thinking CP2077 ain’t got GOTY in the bag
Gameplay looks pretty janky from the gameplay vids I've seen
Idk about it yet I'm very cautious
Was never a big fan of The Witcher games either cause of that exact reason
cyberpunk combat boring, dialogue/story is generic, but you can customize titties and make story altering decisions so it’s GOTY I guess

Well, the good thing is that its not up to you to decide who wins GOTY, and if im not mistaken TW3 won it across the board. CP2077 looks like its expanding upon everything that made TW3 great, plus the media and the fans are already drooling over it more than they are for any other game thats already out. There is literally no chance for any other game to win it if it gets released this year.

And how do you know this

Theres no lock on system for combat so i can see that affecting your direction to where you hit sometimes. My pre order already has a patch installed which is good
cdpr are the more capable devs by a wide margin, its really not a hard conclusion to make

Looks fun but hope it’s doesn’t get stale quick

before playing I would suggest watching the movie Ran.
you don't have to but the style of game and aesthetic is heavily inspired by Kurosawa

How can you call the combat boring when its objectively more varied than that of Tsushima and call the story generic when its based on critically acclaimed original material and around one of the settings least explored in gaming?

the combat looked boring as s*** with no weight being it. It was a huge gripe when they had that stream.
Doesn't matter how many different ways I can attack if the combat doesn't feel nice.
might make this a majority samurai ruun cause full stealth would get boring pretty quick

Most journalists I've heard who played it said the combat was great, plus they still got a few more months to go to polish everything up. You are not playing an RPG like this for the great combat either, the city alone is worth the price of admission.
