I'm mad I even spent $20 on Horizon Zero Dawn, lol. S*** was too repetitive and the story put me to sleep. Couldn't even finish it.
Same bro I thought I was the only person who didn’t f*** with that game lmao I got bored af super fast

Combat system was like a more generic version of monster hunter. I hated that game
Yeah the problem is we just finished TLOU2 and that game was pretty much perfect in every way.
Can't expect any game to come close to that any time soon.
the writing and story set is far from perfect lol
Some of the combat animations look buggy in these reviews
It’ll prolly get fixed in the first week no biggie
Only question I have is, is there a samurai Champloo inspired outfit in the game
Absolutely need to hear this or Shiki no uta in the back
Switch cant ever be a primary console.
They get one great game a year, 2 max.
But it's better for people who havent f***ed with. Nintendo in a minute because nearly all their best games coming out are continuations of old series
Yeah if you don’t like Zelda you’re pretty much screwed and any Nintendo console becomes a Mario Machine
TLOU2 has that in the bag
I sure hope so. Niggas was tweakin about it being a 6
Story was GOATed too you just have to go in with an open mind
Even tho this is mid I know I’ll enjoy it more than HZD, the environment in that game just never appealed to me so it didn’t help that the combat was repetitive and boring to me
the writing and story set is far from perfect lol
the writing and story is perfect for the direction they went with. It also perfectly closes out the themes of the first game as well.
I’ma wait for a sale, gotta get platinum on TLOU2 first.
Glad this is getting great reviews though
Ps4 got the goat swan song to end the era on

you dont think joel and tommy revealing their names was unrealistic and out of character, and that his death was a plot device to move the story forward? you dont think everything in the story was placed to force the next moment and continue? you dont think it was clear how they were obviously intending to make you like abby, with forced moments?? the ending was stupid too. everything felt out of character and forced, script was completely garbage, everything else was fire tho

people who "dislike" the last of us 2's story exposing themselves as being stupid is funny af

Joel literally reveals his name to Sam and Henry in the first game after they left him and Ellie for dead lol. You also realize this is a guy who is 4 years removed from the events of TLOU1\. He isn't in that cold blooded killer mode that he was in the first game. He is trying to battle the person he used to be and become a more trusting and wholesome person, similar to Abby at the end of TLOU2\. Everything in every story is placed to force the next moment to continue. That is the nature of a linear narrative lol. There is nothing in this story that ever feels ridiculous to believe. If anything, the most ridiculous moment in either of these games is how Joel one man army massacres an entire battalion of soldiers in a hospital he has never been in.
I never liked Abby. She is a great villain in my opinion that is very well developed. The greatest villains in stories are those that barely even seem like a villain. She isn't some corny ass MCU villain like Thanos or Killmonger. She is a real person with her own problems and frustrations and she develops as a character as well, despite technically being the "villain". That is fantastic writing especially with the irony in her arc being just like Joel's despite what she does to him and how much she grows up hating him.
Yeah man, I really liked Abby when ND made me choke Ellie out to near death as her
Damn you ND and your agenda for making me like Abby!
