I love how the story allows for this space too like you’ve already spent years training and tooling up to kill these ppl, there’s no rush at this point

I love how the progression of new skills/items/weapons is connected to the story in this one compared to Tsushima where you just kill enough leaders to unlock a new stance

Also anyone else notice the dialogue in the cutscenes changes based on what order you do missions? Not just for story missions either. I had multiple people mention I slayed the kitsune in missions I unlocked before I even went to that region among other examples

I loved that part. That my progress was actively being acknowledged

Am I trippin' or does it feel harder to time your perfect Parries in Yotei as opposed to Tsushima?

It’s def harder lol. There is a charm that makes the parry window more forgiving though.

started the game up and you’re telling me it just seamlessly opens to where I was last riding in the meadows on my horse from the first session oh my goodness

Man I will never forget how impactful the ending of GoT was. Walking with Lord Shimura under the tree and then him accepting he has to kill Jin.

yeah the ending is what elevated the entire game for me, really tied all the game’s themes together perfectly

also what’s crazy too is how good the ending cutscene of the Iki island dlc was, I remember like I stood up and was cheering which I never do, such a good send off for Jin’s character if that is the end (I hope not)

I wanted to go back tsushima just to see how it feels but I cant lol. This is too good. Im just sad ive done almost 100% of everything. Im in the last area.

Tsushima was really good but I dont think the characters were super great, at least I dont remember them being that good. Meanwhile I liked just about everybody in this one
