what they think is mid/dated is actually a perfectly polished open world experience. not every game needs to innovate, sometimes there is more to be said in refinement.

I feel like Jin’s story was actually more innovative and interesting than what they’ve set up here in Yotei. Maybe Jin’s story execution wasn’t as polished as Yotei might be, but Yotei’s revenge story is straight up Kurosawa, not a bad thing but a bit cliche.

Tsushima had a very interesting opportunity with the samurai/honor/assassin conflict I don’t think they explored far enough
