Vonnmy guy we are getting a Gordo executive produced album.
This s*** is going to be his biggest flop since FATD
It’s not gonna work
This stuff is basically a
Formula, if you get rid off key elements of the Drake formula like 40 engineering/overseeing
The formula almost certainly takes a hit
Any real Drake fan would tell you this
Production dictates everything a vocalist does especially when the production vocalist is as symbiotic as it is at OVO with Drake and 40
40 aint even my fav Drake beat maker I prefer boi1da vinylz etc but 40’s editing and engineering is OP af
Gordo Noel etc are solid but they can’t fill 40 or 1da’s shoes

Dec 14, 2025Drake mentioned a while back that his team is evolving behind the scenes because his guys lives are changing…family, health, other interest, etc…so I can believe that his sound may be a direct reflection of his team changing over time.

Production production production hip hop is a beat driven genre
We need one of the OGs overseeing the whole operation regardless of who he chooses to work with in terms of beat makers
Gordo will not be able to fill those shoes
I almost wanna say if 40 isnt engineering i don’t want it
I can see a scenario where we get an album that makes us miss the FATD era especially if 40 isnt involved

Man I love Drake just like anybody else BUT.... The real only reason he's not dropping ICEMAN is simply because on that album...he has some revealing things that could f*** up his appeal on that case he's doing... I'm kind of wishing he never appealed the case.... that way we would just have ICEMAN by now...AND... i still think ICEMAN is a unnecessary name for this album. lol
