While I get the desire for new ip. It makes sense they want to show another angle of God of war story since kratos and Atreus story told . Do I wish it broke the formula from what we know of them even more ? Yes . But sometimes going with what they know works is just easier . After the remake trilogy do I want to see them do something entirely different? Yes

I wish they dropped the god of war in the title to be honest. It just doesnt make sense if its not kratos the god of war. In the first game he kills the god of war and makes himself the god of war. If hes truly not in this game, why is it in the title other than to sell?
