I wasn't gonna say aything but you get the d*** for rehashing the same dumbass s*** that's already been said in this thread by multiple r e t a r d e d ass niggas I was laying down and listened to the 12 track version of GKMC with the original cover and took in the simple nature of the record and how it was the best possible version of Kendrick's message and style at the time and it sounded fresh timeless and authentic and every single choice on that album HIT and sounds effortless. I listened to Take Care today and how the album was less of a conscious effort the way that Thank Me Later was track by track made with commercial success at the forefront yet Take Care was able to fully realize the Drake sound at the time by being more relaxed and true to what Drake and 40 enjoyed themselves. The run from track 1 all the way to the climactic sound and outstanding performance on Lord Knows then proceeding to shine with Cameras/ Good Ones all the way until the outro Is truly unmatched. Drake was just flowing there was so much originality in the songwriting.

And here you cumguzzlers go talking about high school how about you suck your daddy's d*** like a pacifier you f***ing H O M Os I am much richer much more socially apt and loved in my city than you B O Z O H O M O S EX U A LS and yes i also had way badder f***s in high school than you closet monkeys go kill yourself you f***ing COCKBOY

They haven't been topped... It's no wonder that the game is still in a daze/ trying to figure out who the new top 3 is. They take for granted that someone is supposed to come in and make a big statement not understanding that Drake and Kendrick's movements were both phenomenons unlike anything we've EVER seen.

In my opinion these things were forced to happen by these two young MCs and they broke through the Matrix and music will never be as good as it was We are the chosen ones boys.

Reply if you were growing up when these albums dropped!!

Those albums aren’t even that crazy

  • Sep 19, 2023

Really weird replies in this thread. GKMC and to a lesser extent Take Care are seen as some of the greatest hip hop albums ever.

Believing they haven't been topped since they were released is a perfectly valid opinion. It doesn't mean the albums after them are bad.

Personally I believe both artists have made better albums but it's a solid opinion
