Sexual assault was never mentioned during this whole case, there isn't a single souce saying she was raped, it wasn't even mentioned during her trial

How do you even sexual assault someone in a long distance relationship

you know, spoken about as a way to determine her MOTIVE
something that is very important in any investigation

I read an interview with the director of that movie. The main thing he talked about during the interview was figuring out her motive and humanizing her and proving that she wasn’t a sociopath, and not once did he bring up sexual assault.

2. It was his girlfriend

He wanted to die and reached out for support to his friend, she then encouraged him to die. If your best friend tells you daily to kill yourself, you typically dont just walk away
