Shocked how positive this thread is … this looks egregious

Feels almost like I got pranked.

Going from Fury Road, then the gorgeous alternative with the Black & Chrome cut... and then all those years of waiting for Miller to potentially return to this world and give us more goodness...

And then we get this.

Yea it had tons of CGI but the CGI in this is GLARING. Like you said tho im hoping they will fix it

People need to rewatch FR, because this looks like FR’s aesthetic cranked to 11.
Plus, the movie is still months away and this is the first trailer. It’s still being worked on.

I ain't never seen a movie where people say the CGI needs to be worked on and is significantly better once released. Fury Road went through production hell and went over budget due to using practical effects and real stunts. We should all probably accept that this movie will have noticable CGI issues compared to Fury Road.

Yeah. It sucks cause I love Fury Road & Anya but this looks like s*** 😭 CGI is below MCU tier. Nothing feels real.

the CGI is not that bad... it's just not the aesthetic people were expecting. This movie is going for a more exaggerated, mythological bent than Fury Road did. It's intentional.

trying to rewatch fury road and I just cant. quitting an hour 20 into it, its just not for me. sucks cuz this new trailer looks good maybe ill try this one too idk

saw someone online comparing it to Speed Racer which got s*** on for it’s CGI look when it first came out

This movie is not trying to copy the aesthetic of Speed Racer, lol.

I think speed racer is a good comp, these effects look very speed racer esque
