Been thinking of trying this out. For those of y’all that play it, what would you compare it to? More breath of the wild type combat/open world exploration or is it like a final fantasy turned based RPG

i'd give it a shot if it looks interesting to you. you can easily sink in dozens of hours before running into a wall where the daily grind starts.

as someone who has spent hundreds of hours (and dollars lol) on the game, idk if i'd really recommend it since it has the gacha aspect to it. it is free though, so might as well give it a go.

yelan got nerfed

her hydro application isn't as good now. i think it's still decent though. i'd prob be using her with hu tao, but it seems like xingqiu is still the better partner for her.

they had to nerf her now so they dont have to send everyone apologems for breaking her later lol

I rush thru Ayato's quest and still can't do the event because now Yae's quest has two characters that are needed just to talk to Katherine

Still haven’t even looked towards the Ayato quest
I still got 2 weeks to do it
But Theater Mechanicus is one of my favorites to do so I might just do it soon

Overall yeah I wouldn’t tell people to sink too deep into it unless they’re really into it after a while just because of the gacha aspect

I really wanted to save all of the quests I could for a boring, rainy day or something but mr genshin said nah however, it turns out I only needed to advance Yae's story a little bit for the event to open up thank god

Saving for Kazuha now

ended up getting ayaka twice within 10 fates, so i have her at c2 rn lol. it's honestly not as useful as i thought it'd be. still nice to have, i suppose.

would love to go for yelan, but i'd wanna heavily invest in her (cons & weapon) since c6 xingqiu is already so busted, so i gotta go for kazuha instead

i'd prob get yelan as hu tao support, but she needs c2 to keep the hydro application going. might just say f*** it and try and snag her because her design is >>>>>>>

also now seeing this funerational team (hu tao, xingqiu, yelan, xiangling) and it's making me wanna go for yelan even more

my rosaria isn't fully built either but it all still works as of now. pairing her up with Ayaka helps keep both of their bursts in rotation too. popping Rosie's and Yelan burst back to back for that satisfying perma-freeze combo with bonus cryo damage
