So recently just did a gig with her older brother (fucking PHENOMENAL drummer named Taron, I aint even know they was related til we was just talking after the gig) and told him afterwards your sis album is still my fav album of the year lmao

Dog that’s fire, you definitely never know who you run into especially in the ATL. Her album definitely in my top 3 this year we went to her show at aisle 5 a few months ago, was too good definitely recommend seeing gena live too

liv.e always been intriguing but her projects always seem to fall short of being captivating. karriem riggins ive liked in passing but same issue. liked a few stray records from hoopdreams/ gave CWTTY a full listen back when cus that got gassed too but neither captured me and i stopped checking for her stuff

this was good change of pace just off the single and riggins Blacked tf out throughout as expected. this also seemed like something w a stronger vision from the both of them

liked how stream of consciousness most of this felt/was written but thats also to its detriment. 16 tracks and a lot of them are/sound half baked to the point of coming off like filler. havent really gone back to this (bad @ keeping up w music in general now) but looking at the tracks i genuinely care about its ultimately less than half the album; the rest of which i cud take or leave:
