this album is taking some time to work on me fully. something about Liv.e's style and vocal performance doesn't fully mesh well. I do like Circlesz tho. Imma keep listening to it though. Production is pretty cool

If you get the chance I recommend you check out her girl in the half pearl album that came out a few years back. Stylistically she has so much range in her sounds on that album. I think this album will grow on you tho

whoever said this better than jill personally is tripping. Musically you could make a case (and that's cause her melody making + Karriem Riggins being a living cheat code is just a given) but jill's writing and singing ability is putting most singers of the last 2 decades under a table.

well yea, Jill's vocals are unmatched in today's current market for r&b singers. I don't mind that Liv.e isn't a huge vocalist but i don't always find myself enjoying the melodies she goes with.

The fact we even having this discussion shows r&b fans across the whole spectrum been EATING since December

most definitely, I think this year will be a good year for R&B (or maybe I'll just be more tapped in). I will say I am definitely over the super generic stylings of a summer walker, chris brown, partynextdoor sort of flavor and am more interested in something that has more feeling and passion behind it.
