If we're talking about skippable intros, I'm sorry but 2122 is a skip for me most of the time I'm not a fan of Cam's singing on it

show last night was f***ing incredible, the energy was just unreal. i'm still processing it fr.. and i feel so bad so many people were priced out of going by scalper bullshit. but i'm sure they're doing another tour next year and they'll do much better suited venues. i can't complain though since union transfer is my #1 all time venue so i won. cam is seriously special and one of one and this confirmed that for me, and emily KILLED IT 😭

you're right though, it's not like they're never going to tour again, and there's a chance the next album will be even better. then again, nothing is promised (just look at BCNR and black midi)

the reason i know they won't go the black midi/bcnr route is cam, he's the throughline and soul of the band and neither of them had that. midi/bcnr always felt like a bunch of great talented musicians collabing but lacked the true spirit and singular songwriting that cam has in spades. him having his own solo sound & identity allows him way more freedom for what he wants to do with the band, his songwriting can take them anywhere! but yes they're for sure touring next year or early 2027, just makes sense from a business perspective.. the geese train is in full motion now
