This is despite the confirmation through the mediators that this number is all that the movement has reached of detainees of the same category around which the agreement was made.

Today so far and as of 9:00 PM, just 28 aid trucks have entered through the Rafah crossing in southern #Gaza. Under the terms of the ceasefire, 200 trucks should be allowed in per day, in addition to a number of fuel trucks, seven of which have entered today.

I’m not sure if they if they’ve published any longer form theoretical work lately, at least not in English that I’ve been able to find. Would be very interested to be corrected if anyone could point to some of their more recent writings

Hamas’s political wing is sponsored by Qatar and Hamas’s militant wing is sponsored by Iran

Obviously the West is much more friendly with Qatar than Iran so it makes sense for them to arbitrarily separate the two officially and accept their political wing as legitimate at some point

One can also put it in the context that PIJ is a more radical Islamist faction compared to Hamas which is seen as more moderate
