Israel was getting pretty close to some decent relations with the Muslim communities around the area. Something that would benefit Israelis and Palestinians alike.
A stable and fruitful Israel Palestine relationship would make Hamas pointless. Peace threatens the very power and influence of those evil extremists. And the crazy thing is the top leaders of Hamas don’t even live in Gaza or West Bank. Saw Hasan say it was antisemtic to acknowledge how many pro israeli zionist are in the US government. S*** was wild to me. If there was a large amount of black people in power it immediately gets questioned.
