i am neutral on this issue. the folks in here seem to be pretty pro palestine. i'm just trying to understand it
hamas doesnt seem very good to me from what ive seen
AND
the israeli attacks today also seem very bad
I don't want to be mean but you can at least check the wiki page for Israelian palestinian conflict as a starting point, but you're going to need to click 30+ links off of it still to get at least a basic run down
This is a very serious topic with life and death at stake and a lot of people here are very close to the situation because of friends and family so you’re going to get charged comments.
But this occupation has been going on for decades with Israel committing atrocities on the Palestinian people throughout this history. Israel has also propped up Hamas over other secular groups because it’s easier for them to control and paint a narrative to justify their atrocities. The situation was one where the oppressed fought back against its oppressor who has jailed and killed countless Palestinians, even when protesting peacefully.
Killing civilians isn’t good but there’s only so much a people can take when they’re having their land stolen, family jailed without due process, and children being kill d.
i appreciate this post
Israel occupies, oppresses and kills hundreds of Palestinians every year.
This is like blaming the Jews of the Warsow ghettos rising up against the Nazis that were murdering them and oppressing them. Claiming "both sides".
You just wanna hear whatever you want to hear.
I'm done arguing with you, it's useless anyways.
i dont think i'm even making an argument. i'm asking questions
They issued a warning, in the middle of the night, that they’re going to bomb one of the last hospitals in the area (brimming with patients) in a place where they cut off internet and most, if not all electricity
i feel like both sides are bad. am i wrong?
is the hamas attack from oct 7 fake news?
if a man came home from work every night for years & consistently beat his wife black&blue, and she slaps him back one day, so he kills her the next day, would you call both sides bad?
didnt hamas kill like 1400 jews a week ago
it seems to me there are 2 sides to this story
There's around 5, the most distilled take is there's at least 3
i'm not saying it isnt justified. i'm trying to learn about both sides of it
I don't really get what these questions are doing for you in terms of educating yourself or getting context.
go engage in research. your questions come across as callous and stupid because you don't know the context or framework of whats happening. 1000 palestinians sheltering in a hospital were just killed. posing above the fray 'pragmatic' questions an hour later on ktt2 is entirely fruitless.

Glad somebody gave the nigga response that wasn't some emotional, edgy, cry for likes. Mfs can't even discuss this s*** in peace.

In a marriage both people live in the same house this is like beating a neighbor everyday after you steal thier house

who owned the house first?

To be fair a lot of people are so clueless with this all they don't even know what questions to ask

yea, it’s not a perfect metaphor, but “both sides”ing violence is usually just a cop out answer to say “i know nothing about this but want to speak about it without sounding dumb”, but you still come off sounding dumb.
honestly, bad faith arguments and questions like that, designed not to learn but to get a rise out of people, will not be tolerated in a serious thread like this.

why should they entertain this dumbassery, at least he isnt banned

Lol it's called, don't reply. They literally did entertain it my guy.
who owned the house first?
First?
Nobody technically, right? I'm not 100% sure if I'm getting it right but it was just a region where some people were there and didn't even have nationality really until after some migration and then Britain and all that
If this is off can someone let me know

F*** ISRAEL AND THE IDF, I AM SICK!
Apparently videos of children’s body parts are out there. Be careful. Saw a split second of it before I scrolled away.
