I don’t support Palestinian independence because it’s popular I support it because my mother and her family (Lebanese Armenians) saw first hand the atrocities that the Zionist entity commits against Palestinians and their allies.
I have multiple relatives who died fighting alongside Palestinians and the Lebanese against Israel and they didn’t do it because it was popular they did it because it was the right thing to do.
This isn’t “human stupidity based on identity” it is a fight for self determination from an invading entity that seeks to exterminate and expel Palestinians by any means necessary.

I wouldn’t even necessarily call pro Palestinian sentiment popular in America either. People lose their jobs/get ostracized from their fields blacklisted everyday for advocating for Palestinian self determination.
