Im crying these niggas saw the writing on the wall
"Zionist" never came out this man's mouth. I hate these propaganda/engagement bait pages.
its so funny but also not at all a surprise you still wanna play this kaleidoscope of moderate voter bloc reaction to implied statements on delegitimization of signaling political support under broader party pressure bullshit, just tossing this political word salad around like its gonna do anything to anyone
its no surprise 'the other side' is like ten steps ahead of you (not even talking about the 'action' side, purely rhetoric) when you just wanna bury yourself in the corridors of polisci language
You basically said nothing here. I don’t even believe in voting much less thinking the moderates will ever do anything. I only care about the ripple effects hs statement has on interpolitics of the Israelis and Jewish electorate. You don’t have enough context around these groups so to you it’s “word salad”. Read “Preventing Palestine” by Seth Anziska especially the first 3 chapters if you want engage with this topic with some manner of substance.
Condescending tone doesn’t legitimize a point or argument btw, especially when you’re addressing a Palestinian who knows more about this and is sharing new information so you ‘pro Palis’ can actually be better informed, it’s rare I see a nuanced take in this entire section from self proclaimed pro Palis who just regurgitate leftist online figures without reading a primary source themselves.
Anyway, it’s fine if you don’t want to see it or just want to dismiss it as more 'word salad'.
The reality is that statements like these fundamentally fracture Jewish/Zionist political organization and voting blocs. We’ve seen this play out in New Jersey already. I can read Hebrew and follow their private telegrams and lobbyist networks. Feel free to debate this if you disagree or don’t — up to you if you actually care to listen to informed Palestinians

Nothing new same repeat of history when Jimmy Carter referred to a Palestinian homeland in his New Jersey speech in the 1970s leading up until the election he immediately had to apologize

it’s nothing new yet first page you tried telling me this was indicative of any genuine policy shift regarding the DNC or America as a whole relationship to Israel?
yes newsom is a clown

As far as rhetoric/public opinion goes, it is indicative where things are going. It’s not a linear thing. There’s a big difference to where we were in the 1970s when it came to Israel versus present day. My main viewpoint is the US is reverting back to pre-1980s where they weren’t moving in complete lock step with Israel. This statement, and then later qualification is quite literally a mirror image of the way Carter statement had to be qualified, and then later on how he presented Mechachem Begin’s prime ministership as the main issue as opposed to Israel as a whole. The big difference of where we are now is Israel has gone completely far to the right in terms of revision Zionism and the secular liberal zios that the Democrats historically like to appeal to are becoming a minority in society and the Knesset.
A snake like him is constantly testing the waters to see what pandering works versus doesn’t, in his moderate liberal calculation the democratic Jewish Zionist backlash from his comments outweighed any positive reception he got from his statement.
