Why hyperloop when trains can do the same job but better

Cars are not very dense

Furthermore, subways have existed for 150 years or so and are proven to work, hyperloop is trying to re-invent the wheel

Update they changed their policy twice ultimately landing on a hybrid schedule but since I did this at the time I did I’m grandfathered in and got my 10% salary back to boot

since when does the hyperloop have cars? the hyperloop is literally a train… you’re thinking about something completely different

@cloud_rap the hyperloop is literally a maglev train but in a vacuum so there’s no air friction

the underground highway for electric cars is an entirely different concept that has no relation

Hyperloop are individual pods, not real trains, which is still individual travel and not public transit

Why not build maglev trains in vacuums then instead of doing pod stuff

you can literally make the pods as big as you need them to be

a train is literally just connected pods

its probably just most cost effective to make smaller pods

the more production you have then the lower you can bring down the price

so travel will be inexpensive
