I fw BB but it’s one of the most overrated shows of all time. It didn’t do anything that other tv shows before it like The Sopranos and The Wire hadn’t already done better. Atlanta isn’t perfect but it’s a work of art and there’s truly nothing else like it on TV. same can’t be said for BB
Saying BB didn't do anything new is pure ignorance. BB was the first show to start with a goal in mind and stick to it. Other shows just went with the flow. It developed beautifully the main characters. Even the name of the show alludes to it with Breaking on the gerund verb form.
Besides, Ozymandias is the best episode ever made.
Don't get me wrong. Atlanta is one of my favorite shows OAT but don't say BB doesn't deserve its praise.
