    this show is a masterpiece

If season 4 keeps up this level of quality (which im sure it will) , this show will comfortably be top 3 shows ever for me.
Maybe top 2 if it really sticks the landing

I'm just so glad to be alive at the same time as this show

Was just listening to a few Camp tracks because I was feeling nostalgic, and on 'Outside' he says

We used to say, "I love you, " now we only think that s***
It feels weird that you're the person I took sink baths with
Street took you over, I want my cousin back
The world sayin' what you are
Because you're young and black, don't believe 'em
You're still that kid who kept the older boys
    From teasin', for some reason

Which immediately made me think of Alfred and Earn's dynamic, specifically from FUBU

Which makes me think that Alfred's character is most likely loosely inspired by a real life cousin of Donald. Maybe Earn helping out Al's character so much was Donald's way of saying what could've been if Donald could've made a change in his real life cousin's life

It still doesn't feel like we're in the final season though. I wonder how they're gonna end this show. Hopefully it won't feel rushed

I'd guess it'll never get brought up again

every episode has been great so far but the fact that this was able to hit without relying on surrealism puts it at the top for me. I got big szn 1 vibes from it

Yeah they still had to add the Shmurda exit though just to keep that surreal vibe

Idk in some ways it does feel like the last season. These episodes have felt very reflective and thoughtful. There's a feeling of maturity that the episodes have carried that the past 3 seasons didn't have

If I had to describe this season so far, it would be a much more mature season 1.
Season 1 feels very playful and care free, season 4 feels very mature and thought out

It makes sense that both seasons would feel very similar, the show is going to end where it all began.

I can’t help but feel like there’s still another season or 2 worth of content after this. Like it doesn’t feel like the end

That clip literally proves that Walter White is Heisenberg from the beginning my guy.

Explain this. Because my interpretation is that it's foreshadowing for the Walter to Heisenberg change

    You're totally right.

Not sure if this is sarcastic or not, but I should've explained that I meant this could be the family member who molested Earn. I thought Al not going meant maybe he knew something, but he was on house arrest so he couldn't go anyway

I agree with you about them probably never bringing it up again. I feel like people are going to hate on the show for just throwing that out there but f*** it, not everything needs a resolution and Atlanta is definitely that kind of show

A lot of lines from his music especially Camp show up in Atlanta imo

if these are two of the worst episodes u just hate van 😭😭

they provide so much depth to her character and clarity to her internal conflict

Value beats both of those episodes. it’s my favorite Van episode and prob the most slept-on ep of the whole show

Champagne Papi is cool too but it has that garbage subplot about Van’s friend being pressed over that IR couple, which was just cringeworthy

this is why it annoys me when fake ass Bino stans and haters act like the nigga just turned into a different person overnight once ATL started airing lmao

don’t see how one scene ruins it nor how that scene was cringeworthy but 2 each their own

i didn’t say it ruined the ep but yeah it was cringe. it reinforced the bitter black women stereotype. most black women do not care enough about a man’s preference to stalk them at a party like that. her character was created literally for that one purpose. i feel like Donald let his own insecurities get the best of him there. i still like the ep but it is what it is
