Katt Williams, Liam neeson, jai Paul, Justin Bieber, Kevin samuels, Earl
Cameos been legendary on this show. I wonder if they’ll throw us one more before it all ends
What episode is JB in? Not the black JB lol

I'm sure we'll get a few more
There's a celeb who said they would have a role in the show during an interview, but I won't spoil it for people itt

I think I vaguely remember that. Don’t remember the exact celeb who said it tho. Oh well, we’ll find out soon
Finally watched these 2 eps. Both were pretty fire. Earl playing DOOM definitely gonna be one of my favorite things about this show
Imma need one from you first nigga
You’re the one talking sus and I asked your first
u aint enjoy the first 2 episodes? how lmao
I didn’t like Ep 1 that much either
Ep 2 a classic
It just seems like S1 and S2 of the show Donald was coming in very passionate about it, and excited.
You can tell they took their time with the writing, and the plot line, he was eager to get his first show.
As we got to S3 and it just seemed so cliche and actually try hard at some points, I’m willing to bet in a few years once the dust settles Donald himself will admit they somewhat dropped the ball.
The show lost a lot of its early magic, but I get it, it was his first show, he was excited. He’ll probably take his time with his next one even more, it’ll probably be way better as well

Season 4 gonna end up being top tier
I really love the detail of having Lisa's name spelled incorrectly so they had to fix it afterwards
Just another funny and petty detail that Earn added to the whole plan considering she gave him a bunch of trouble for Van's name being spelled wrong

I halfway agree that Atlanta has lost its way a bit, but tbh it feels like a different take on the show now. Like A side (s1+s2) and B side (s3+s4)
I can appreciate it for what it is, but 1 and 2 are still top tier to me

I feel this exactly. Season 1 and 2 you could sense the excitement. And once he got the accolades, the motivation for excellence went down. I honestly feel this way about a lot of Season 2 as well (a few eps).

Ya'll stay trying to make Season 3 make sense lol. Season 4 is a return to form (so far).

Season 3 is an Atlanta-flavored anthology
What’s not to get
Season 3 is an Atlanta-flavored anthology
What’s not to get
We get it
It’s just that nobody asked for it

It’s just that nobody asked for it
Won’t even argue that
I would’ve preferred it if the anthology s*** was a spin-off show taking place in the Atlanta universe
Season 3 glover and his writers kinda got up their own ass
I still enjoyed it tho

To me it seems like they dropped a lot of the storyline/narrative that was there and went the more satirical/boondocks route. The latter was always there from jump but it was more like 70/30 in S1+S2. Now it's been flipped around. I also think Get Out and Jordan Peele must of had a huge influence on Donald bc a lot of these episodes seem to have that similar kind of horror vibe now. It's almost like they saw how people reacted after the Teddy Perkins and Al getting lost in the woods Eps and decided to make it a regular thing

Had this exact thought a couple days ago

yeah no doubt because those have been consistently the most talked about episodes of the show
That and Donald always talking about how there's nothing like Atlanta on television makes me think they were trying as hard as possible to distinguish the show in season 3 when it already had a fresh feel to begin with
