This scene feels different after that last episode
Tracy respects (fears) Earn now lol
Finale prolly my least fav Atlanta episode tbh
It’s by far the worst episode. I can’t believe how awful it was.
My lord man I love this show. Bout to rewatch both eps
bro this got me seeing everything in a whole new light lol. I gotta rewatch the whole thing soon
Aye you paying close attention
yeah man. season 3 had me thinking DG and them didn’t really give a f*** about the characters anymore so much as the themes. but nah, this ep made me realize they’ve been playing the long game. Earn’s development ties all four seasons together so beautifully. show is so goated
everyone knows i’m the biggest s3 defender but this is what they were talking about sopranos level
f*** that
this is hitchcock level
f*** that
this is art
agree 100% bro. this is up there with The Sopranos, The Wire, and really any other tv show. and I’m not letting any cacs with Donald Draper or Walter White avis tell me any different
I had my issues with S3 but I remember someone itt saying it would be this show’s equivalent to The Wire S2 and I really agree. Not the strongest season but still crucial to the whole story
i’m so scared for earn bc earn put a lot of negative energy in the world lmao
one of these cracker’s are getting that get back on him
and that c***bitch didn’t by ruining countless black people’s trips?
I got the same vibe as @SgtLeaf, she saw him talking with another girl about the party and got jealous, offered help to screw him later
I was thinking that too. or that she was jealous that Earn got the job opportunity
I think she was genuinely doing him a favor but was careless and wasnt there when he needed it back and didnt care
No she was definitely being petty, her shame too just never talking to him again
Great point!!
I love when y’all come itt and remind us of important details like this
That situation and all of ep 2 makes me think about how easy it is to dismiss somebody as overreacting to some s*** (and Earn was def overreacting there) and being extra without ever thinking about the deeper reasons and trauma behind it. It’s just amazing how we can accidentally trigger people. Tracy was simply being his goofy self but he was poking the bear without even knowing. wild lol
Earn owns Paperboy masters. My view on the Blue Blood game he was playing was about leaving something behind even if it’s just five people. Blue Blood is able to do that because he’s independent and probably owns his masters. Putting meaning and care into his work.
We go back to 3rd season, when Paperboy was tripping out, at the end of that episode when he wakes up, he asks Earn who owns his masters.. to me it sounded like Earn was lying when he said “you”.
Now we see in this season, Earn is at a different level, using his new found wealth and power in spite instead of focusing on what’s important. He’s also acting like those that he once felt subjected to (white people)
i feel so liberated after this episode
same bro. we seem to feel liberated for completely different reasons bc I admired Earn greatly here lmao but the therapy scenes and lowkey seeing myself reflected on screen like that got me doing some serious self-reflection.
powerful, powerful television. I needed this episode so much

Did we ever find out what was so important on the laptop? Or was it just assumed it was his management s*** for Al and he didn’t wanna fail at his job?
Earn is always leaving an item at someone’s house and then has a hard time tracking it down. Kinda like when he left his jackets in Season 1 and spent the whole day trying to track it down

Nah we just knew it was really
important to his job like the suit was. And yeah, same with the jacket. My only problem with that episode though is that if the laptop was so important to Earn - why did he leave it in the first place?
It’s an amazing ep but I feel like they were temporarily written to be some dumb niggas so we could get that white frat party scene tbh. Right after the fight with Violet and her crew happened, they just roam the streets trying to bum weed instead of immediately going back to get their s***. Like what?
But that Earn/Tracy scene is one of the series’ best for sure. And it holds up even better now
Finale prolly my least fav Atlanta episode tbh
that episode turned me off Van’s character so much. I’ll give them one more chance this season to make me care about her though
New Earl Sweatshirt and Earn's backstory in back to back episodes
This season is gonna be amazing
It’s a less funny Atlanta for white lil d***y fans basically
spot on but still a good watch

Do you think it’s designed to speak on his character of always trusting people to leave his valuable items with them? Cus it seems to be a pattern we’ve heard about 3 times now: The Jacket, The Laptop and The Suit

Hey man I love this show as much as the next man, it’s pretty much all I’ve been thinking about since I started watching it again. But to say it’s up there with BB is wild
Just no my nigga

u gave me a diff perspective i needed too bro
all my pain is valid and i don’t gotta force myself to believe whatever ppl around me say/do

My theory is Al kills Earn when he finds out
"I aint seen you since my momma died, and the first thing you talk about is let's get rich"
Something crazy is going to happen. I think Al going on the scavenger hunt is going to wake him up. And what Blueblood’s wife was saying to him about how nobody showed up to celebrate his life, it was very ominous.
I just didn’t want to say anything but yeah, I think that’s the case. There’s no f***ing way he’s getting that much money off of 15%. No way in hell.
I can’t quite figure out how Darius plays into this but his part will be pivotal as well.
