Stephen Glover just did an interview about season 3 that is a really good read. Really puts in perspective what their goal was for this season . He answered a lot of questions

Great read
If this is dropping in October, we might get a trailer in August tbh
Or tonight
Finally catching up this socks guy had me dying of that phone episode

Ima rewatch 1-3 when 4 is announced
crine nigga was barely in this season, really shouldve been for season 2
Dude got a leading actor nom off 4 and a half episodes lmao
Donald got 3 best actor noms in a row
He won't win over Hader, but at least he won one for season 1
4 episode into S3. Shxt is a drag at a lot of points, but still some really good moments. I can see why DG hyped s4 before s3 even released
""Oh season 3 is coming back. I got to watch seasons 1 and 2 to refresh my memory." And I was like, "No, you don't. You're not going to have to do that at all." And I think that helps the language of the show in a different way when people can just hop in."
But Donald, that's exactly why we watch TV, continuity is important because then you just have a jumbled up mess that starts off as something and then completely becomes a new shows before it even finishes. You sold us Atlanta (Earn, Darius, Al, Van, etc) so give us that lol. Like, imagine if The Godfather turned into a rom-com by the end of the 3rd movie.
This guy is so unbelievably pretentious talking like he's somehow reinvented TV. You just made a trash season bro, get over yourself. Tbh, only someone who claims his show will be mentioned amongst the likes of the GREATEST shows ever could be this delusional.
Agreed.
Yea a lot of takes itt this season were wild af
People were wanting this to be a straight forward feel good comedy, but Atlanta has never been that. Like yea its funny af, but niggas were getting shot by police all the way back in season 1.
There was a murder suicide in season 2.
The tone is unlike any other comedy on tv, and its been that way since the beginning
Where has anyone said they thought this was a "feel good" comedy? I like how people are defending this show so hard with no defense.
I highkey think this show will have a controversial series finale
They are going to pull a Sopranos by giving us something super unconventional. It'll either be ambiguous af or it'll end without real resolution
THIS show will never be nothing like The Sopranos
THIS show will never be nothing like The Sopranos
You are COMPLETELY misinterpreting that entire comment.
I said the show will handle it's ending similar to Sopranos, I said absolutely nothing about comparing it to the quality of Sopranos
Season 3 has brought on a lot of hostility surrouding the show while having discussions about it
THIS show will never be nothing like The Sopranos
