I actually remember when they had the casting for a trans woman crazy this is finally the episode and they don’t even mention it
She foine great casting
When paper boy says where’s Lorraine and earn says your mom? So he dreamed her in his moms image?
They have the same name. Lorraine
"The best & worst part about being white is you don't have to learn anything if you don't want to."
"The best & worst part about being white is you don't have to learn anything if you don't want to."
that line alone was worth this entire season
I don’t think they would do the same arc with Darius that happened to Earn last season. If anything I think Al realized these people who depend on him actually do care for him. If they do end up having a problem. I feel like Darius would be like well actually I’m richer than you my family gets reparations lol
That perspective from Liam Neeson was really interesting. I wonder how something like that ends up being written - do they give him the floor to write his part with a little bit of context of the scene? Do they write it for him and hope that their perspectives align? I'd love to be a fly on the wall during that interaction and process.
the part where he seemed like he really didn’t change his opinion on it caught me so off guard cause you’re tryna separate the show logic vs real life
i think that’s where donald or whoever wrote their piece on it
I’m so confused why would he confuse some star f***er girl as his mom? And is that why he was so grossed out about f***ing her? And when he lost her in the crowd he was yelling for her like a boy looking for his mom but god I hated her character tbh she talked like a gay white male but what they’re ripping off usually I guess
damn you got a one way ticket to the cancel club
This was dope. I love when majority of the episodes are Paperboy. Woods, BAN, Barbershop >>>>
I wonder if Rocky being harassed in Sweden kinda inspired the scene of the kids chasing down Paperboy
“And a Chris evans”
Is it a reach or is it cause Chris evans loves black culture? From the handshakes to dating black women
Lmaooo this cancel club twist is funny af.
Wait so is Paperboy in the “cancel club” for his comments on the BAN episode?
So what did al do to get into the cancel club?
I think it connects to the BAN episode. That’s why a trans women took him there

Well she’s trans right? Paperboy isn’t too big on trans women. And I think she was a manifestation of his mother being she told him the truth in a way only a mother would.
“Whatever happens just know I love you very much”
Damn that foreshadowing. It’s like Darius is telling him “you’re bout to get high af and realize the truth about me but just know I’m not just around just cus. I truly love you and loyal to you”
Nah this episode brilliant af
another anthology episode next week
Isn’t that a good thing? Then hopefully the finale is the main cast?
Everyone saying this a sequel to Woods but how nobody catch this is a sequel to BAN????
Cancel club….
Trans woman…
“Who owns the masters” has a different kind of meaning when you tie it to slavery. And idk if that was intended by Donald or if it was strictly music talk

Trans woman…
Didn't think of that.
But this episode also has parallels to Woods
Al was chased by a dangerous group of dudes because they recognize who he is (btw Al probably has PTSD from the season 2 attack, which is why he panicked so much while he was being chased)
Al confronts his insecurities while alone and lost, and both times his mother's precense is felt
