When a show is engaging you get a fanbase that’ll somewhat read deeper into a show than even its writers (e.g. insecure fans thinking tiffany’s baby wasn’t Dereks).
I do think we gonna see a dope development with Van but this whole ghost thing dont make sense. Unless Earn was just f***ing the air in that last episode 💀💀💀
Darius had a whole f***in episode with Van this ghost s*** gotta be the dumbest theory lol

Darius was talking to imaginary friend the whole time

They’re all ghost
rip atlanta cast
They lucky the show was renewed before the season aired because the viewership ratings this season have been horrible
Show went from most popular on fx to one of the least watched
That 4th season needs to get back to what the core of the show was

They’re never playing the show on FX for some reason. Twice on a Thursday and then it’s impossible to catch.

Does that count the Hulu viewership numbers as well ?
A lot people probably watch on streaming now instead
I know the show always had like a "supernatural"/nonsenical things going on in the past (teddy perkins, the invisible car etc etc) but I feel like its doing it a little too much this season. Feels like every episode has had some element of it so far

It wasnt premiering on streaming before feel like alot of ppl just migrated there
It was a cool episode, ain’t really got much to say about it. This season def been kinda different.
It’s an anthological episode, of course it didn’t lead up to anything….. have you been watching the season? Lmao
Damn what if they do anthological scenes in movies?
really liked this episode
agree with a lot of the subtext people have mentioned and I also saw it as a commentary on how appealing foreign cultures are to white children who have especially generic cultureless Starbucks parents. like there's a whole generation of those kids being impacted by a pop culture that's created by black people
also loved that line that was like "this is how we do sad" yet the white couple being so shocked at its expression
can understand people want to see the main cast, but these random episodes have a lot of layers
Part of me wonders if we’re forcing these fillers to be deeper than they actually are. Like ok cool white ppl loves black culture, we already knew this. So is this episode really saying anything new?

Not saying I believe the ghost theory but we really gonna act like Darius isn’t the type of person that would talk to ghost?
If season 4 is based in atlanta and really good i think people will come back and appreciate season 3 more

Yup, in the grand scheme of the whole show this season will age well. People are just impatient to see more of the main cast

“New”
might as well just make a new show entirely if half the season is going to be filler episodes based on the same concept
with that being said, this one was kinda funny
